Renewed in Christ
Grow in Every Way Into Christ

The Faith Formation Ministry for Our Lady Queen of Peace, guided by the Holy Spirit and inspired by the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, will provide a learning environment for all our entire parish community. All ministry members, together with the Pastor, under the guidance of the Diocese of Scranton, will provide various opportunities for faith to grow in a safe learning environment. The ministry will work with the church in response to the needs of our youth, their families, adults and all those looking for faith and meaning in life. This will occur by implementing programs that will educate, enrich faith, and nurture personal relationships with God and one another.
Faith Formation
Religious Education
. Our Religious Education program joins our parish, catechists and parents together in guiding our children to develop a deep relationship with God.
Our volunteers are one of our greatest assets. We are very grateful for the gift of their time and talent. We trust that working
together we will all do our best in the parish and at home to mold our children’s faith, values and respect for others. God gives us amazing grace when we answer His call to carry on the joyful mission to teach as Jesus did.
2020-2021 RELIGIOUS EDUCATION YEAR – Religious Education will begin in October and will be conducted online through a platform called “Faith Alive”. We feel that this is the safest way to keep all students, teachers and parishioners safe while following the guidelines set forth by the CDC, Pennsylvania Dept of Health and the Scranton Diocese. “Faith Alive” will offer easy connection with Our Lady Queen of Peace Religious Ed Classes. You will be notified through emails as to the exact start date and with an invitation to join the Faith Alive Class.
– Registration will be the same as it has been. You can print the form from this website and return to the church office, by mail, collection box, or drop off at the during office hours.
