As the spiritual home for Catholics in the West End, we are a family of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. We are a Sunday people, remade in Baptism, nurtured by the Eucharist, and guided by the Holy Spirit. UPCOMING CHURCH EVENTS
ADORATION – Adoration is held on every Friday from 8:30am – 7:00pm in the daily chapel. *Evening Prayer will begin at 6:45pm followed by Benediction. Take some time out of your busy schedule to visit Jesus!
PASTORAL PLANNING IN THE DIOCESE OF SCRANTON – The Bishop decided that: Our Lady Queen of Peace Church will enter into a “Partnership Parish” along with Our Lady of Victory, St. Luke’s, St. Matthew’s, and St. John’s. Our cluster team will develop a Website for the parishes of Monroe County which will include a link to Catholic Social Services to inform everyone of outreach events.
SPANISH MASSES – There will be Spanish Masses offered at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the Month at 1:30pm with Father Bellantonio celebrating. (Feb. is on the 1st and 4th)
COOKBOOK SALE – The Altar and Rosary Society is selling 3 ring binder cookbooks filled with parishioners wonderful recipes. These make great gifts are now only $10. Stop by the church office during office hours to obtain your book.
GOLF TOURNAMENT – The Knights of Columbus are sponsoring a Golf Tournament on Saturday, August 14th at the Villas Crossing in Tamaqua, please call Joe to register at 570-646-4656.
RELIGIOUS EDUCATION – Classes resume Sept. 11th, Sept. 12th, Sept. 13th and Sept. 14th. Classes are for Preschool – 12th graders. Please stop by the church office to register.
